Weekend of Activities
We had a blast the weekend of Sept. 7-8, 2013. We sold fries at the Cranbury Day on Saturday and we hosted our Parish Picnic on Sunday. According to Monsignor, we had over 300 parishioners in attendance; they enjoyed the company of each other as well as some great music, food and activities. He liked the set up which helped our community closer together and more 'involved' with each other.

2012 Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity
Brothers,
I thought I would share with you the results of our Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity. Our membership base grew to 101 Brothers.
In 2012, we conducted 20 meetings and 9 social events including 3 pancake breakfasts, St Patrick’s Celebration, Mother’s Day carnations, Founder’s Day fry stand, Tootsie Roll drive, Trenton Thunder outing, parish picnic, Super Storm Sandy dinner, and a past Grand Knight dinner.
Expenses amounted to $9500. Some fixed costs are – Supreme Council $886, State Council $497, Ceremonial $400, Web site fees $450, and Insurance $265. Our annual due allows us to cover our fixed costs.
The expenses enable us to raised additional funding to support various chartable causes, totaling $4400. Donations included support of Sister Mary Rose’s anniversary, support of a Seminarian, Intellectual Disabilities, Super Storm Sandy victims (American Red Cross, Catholic Charities), one Girl Scout Award, and a Scholarship donation to Notre Dame in honor of Msgr. Medley. We also assisted in the Baby Bottle campaign for the Dioceses.
As a council, collectively we made 130 visits to the sick and bereaved. We assisted in our parish blood donations (21 – I know the number should be higher, but many did not complete the survey). The estimated hours that we supported our Church was 1,100, and additionally, for our Community (700), Youth (1,500) and sick or disabled members and their families (500).
As you can see, much was accomplished and we thank you for this. Keep in mind “many hands make light work”.
